Customer Claims Recovery Executive

Reporting directly to the Customer Claims Support Manager, the Customer Claims Recovery Executive is part of a team responsible for recovering a targeted proportion of outlay on Personal Injury/Illness claims from group suppliers, as well as handling and resolving all related queries.



The Customer Claims Recovery team has significant voice and email contact with suppliers, so the executive will be expected to build exceptional working relationships with all key stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class service.

We offer a flexible hybrid working model. While scheduled attendance at our Luton office is required, there is the opportunity to work from home part of the week. This approach supports collaboration and team engagement, while also offering flexibility to help maintain a healthy work-life balance.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • The Customer Claims Recovery Executive will be expected to supply information to resort offices and suppliers to assist in securing recovery of a significant proportion of our outlay and to deal with any associated queries
  • There will be a need for the executive to develop and foster good relationships with overseas suppliers, resort staff and insurers in order to assist in achieving maximum recovery. Therefore, the executive will be required to understand the reasons why compensation and costs payments are made in order to be able to explain these to the various parties as required
  • The role will also include day to day duties such as processing recoveries within the environment of the applicable financial accounting system, notifying the resort office and suppliers of the outcome of all personal injury claims and maintenance of the recovery data contained within the Risk Console system. The Claims Recovery Executive will also be expected to perform various other administrative tasks as and when required. We would expect records to be maintained and archived to satisfy audit
  • The executive will work closely within a team to achieve team targets and service levels, whilst ensuring they meet their individual objectives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Understanding of personal injury claims
  • Ability to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to fully use Risk Console to process recoveries
  • Ability to monitor and adjust own performance in respect of defined and challenging targets and overall objectives
  • Excellent telephone manner and understanding of why customer engagement is important
  • Able to confidently manage and negotiate with assertive suppliers
