Currently, we are searching for a Senior Accountant, who will ensure timely, relevant and reliable accounting and will continuously improve efficiency in financial processes.

In this role, your key focus areas will be:

  • Accounting responsibility for two legal entities within the Transcom Group. You will be accountable for ensuring that all transactions related to financial processes are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Responsible for delivering timely, relevant, and reliable financial reporting (incl. monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting) in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.

  • Owning the periodical closing procedures, deep dive into account analysis to ensure balances are correct.

  • Preparing financial reports, account reconciliations and analysis are performed, errors and discrepancies are resolved.

  • Maintaining the general ledger, working with audit, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

  • Preparation of Annual Report.

  • Responsibility for reporting to the local Tax Authorities (preparation of VAT report, Corporate Tax report)

  • Working closely with Business Controller functions to keep track of business development, ensure proactive actions and analysis from a financial perspective.

  • Support in the work with developing and updating business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

What we are looking for:

  • A university degree preferably in accounting, finance, or business.

  • Be fluent in written and spoken (business) English.

  • 5+ years of progressive work experience in financial functions e.g.; Experience working with Procure-to-Pay process and AP accounting.

  • Prior experience in managing year-end processes and liaising with auditors, as well as a good working knowledge of the group reporting process in a multi entities & currencies environment.

  • Good understanding of IFRS, key accounting concepts, and principles.

  • Advanced MS Office skills especially MS Excel.

  • Prior experience of working with SAP, a professional accounting qualification, and prior experience in Hyperion would be considered as an advantage.
