Product Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

Product Management Support

• Assist in defining and executing product strategies that align with company business objectives and customer needs.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer insights to identify product opportunities.
• Support product lifecycle management – track product performance, initiate NPD requests, and propose product updates or phase-outs as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Creative, Program, NPD, Supply Chain, Marketing) to ensure smooth and efficient product delivery.
• Monitor competitor product portfolios, pricing, promotions, and distribution channels.
• Analyze sell-through performance, identify key internal/external factors, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders.

Product Development Execution

• Support the full merchandise product line (Serve ware & Lifestyle) development and delivery for the responsible market, including assortment planning, CMF (color, material, finish), and artwork application.
• Support creating & presenting compelling product proposals with strong storytelling and local relevance, by promotion and by product.
• Manage sample reviews, coordinate improvements, and follow up with stakeholders to meet customer needs, ensure final sample quality and hit rate.
• Ensure all products comply with customer brand strategy and product policies.
• Partner with the commercial team to ensure product proposals meet profit targets.
• Support identifying short-, mid-, and long-term product opportunities and contribute to market-centric product mapping and strategy.
• Support the commercial team in addressing potential new customer needs.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

• Deep understanding of local culture, market dynamics, design & fashion trends, and consumer insights.
• Broad knowledge of the consumer goods industry with strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese (required).
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Result-driven, ownership mindset, problem-solving attitude, and strong timeline management.
• Minimum2 years of experience in merchandising, product management, product development, or related fields.
