Job Description

Booker are recruiting for a Supply Chain Senior Analyst, who be responsible for analytics for Supply Chain transformation projects. This includes detailed analytics, project management and stakeholder engagement to support delivery of projects.

The role will also support with the supply chain systems roadmap, trial tracking and data strategy. The role is based within a team of change managers, analysts and data scientists

You will be responsible for

  • Taking a supply chain problem statement, identifying relevant areas to analyse, then using the analysis to make recommendations to advance and refine the project
  • Reporting data accurately and turning it into useful information which has context and supporting narrative.
  • Taking ownership of projects, being proactive in driving them forwards
  • Measuring the costs & benefits associated with the transformation and project work.
  • Presenting project work to relevant stakeholders across supply chain and technology.
  • Working with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for successful delivery of projects
  • A trusted expert for questions about data/projects within Supply Chain. Able to mentor analysts and support training of technical skills across Supply Chain
  • Developing a deep understanding of how the wholesale industry, our end-to-end supply chain and branch operations work and why.
  • Using a combination of data and business understanding to turn data into insight, root causing issues, defining problems and supporting with solutions and implementation.
  • Articulating the opportunity, insight, or project clearly, flexing your style to engage with empathy and conviction.
  • Supporting development our suite of insight reports to give our operators and leadership visibility of how the business is performing and what we need to do to improve.
  • Development of new systems and ways of working to support the modernisation of the supply chain.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

You will need

  • Attention to detail, analysis and interpretation of data to accurately convey business context
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be able to work independently to collect and analyse data from multiple sources to reach a business conclusion
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant markets and market developments
  • Ability to flex work approach
  • Proven track record of delivering analytics projects to unlock business value
  • Supply chain systems including business objects.
  • Data analysis

  • Have a proven record of working autonomously.
