
Job Description
As a Product Manager, you’ll own and drive the EPOS & RF device product strategy and lifecycle across Booker’s wholesale estate. You’ll define the vision, set the roadmap, and ensure our products deliver real value while supporting day-to-day trading.
Working closely with Technology, Operations, and third-party partners, you’ll balance business needs with technical possibilities to deliver scalable, resilient solutions. You’ll also play a key role in guiding decision-making, using data and insight to continuously improve performance and outcomes.
This is a collaborative role where your voice matters – you’ll help shape the direction of critical systems that support thousands of colleagues and customers.
- Define and own the EPOS & RF device product vision, strategy and roadmap
- Translate business and operational goals into clear, prioritised product outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture and support teams to deliver scalable, supportable solutions
- Lead product prioritisation and investment decisions to maximise value and minimise risk
- Represent the product in governance forums and stakeholder discussions
- Ensure smooth delivery of system changes, upgrades and rollouts with minimal disruption
- Maintain high standards for product resilience, compliance and security
- Use data and insights to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
- Support agile delivery through backlog refinement, prioritisation and clear requirements
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and third-party suppliers
- Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar role in a technology environment
- Knowledge of EPOS, retail or wholesale systems (or similar operational platforms)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with agile teams and managing product backlogs
- The ability to translate business needs into clear technical deliverables
- Confidence making decisions in fast-paced, operational environments
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term needs and long-term goals
- Experience working with live systems where reliability and continuity are critical
- A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement
