Job Description

At Booker, part of the Tesco Group, we’re here to help our customers succeed by making their lives easier and their businesses stronger. As a Digital Product Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our online shopping experience across web and mobile.

Working within our Technology function in the Online Shopping team, you’ll use data and insight to influence product decisions, improve customer journeys, and measure the impact of change. You’ll help us deliver secure, scalable and customer-focused digital solutions that drive satisfaction and business performance.

Booker.co.uk is the UK’s fastest‑growing online wholesale platform, generating over £3.5 billion in sales and continuing to grow rapidly. With millions of users and exciting plans ahead, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference at scale.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive team environment where everyone’s voice is valued, and where we support each other to grow, learn and succeed.

You’ll work closely with product, design and technology teams to ensure decisions are driven by meaningful insight. Day-to-day, you will:

  • Build strong partnerships with product and design teams to shape objectives, set measurable goals and influence the roadmap
  • Lead end-to-end analysis – from gathering requirements and defining success metrics to delivering actionable insights
  • Design, run and analyse A/B tests to continuously optimise the customer experience
  • Use data from multiple sources to identify trends, answer business questions and uncover new opportunities
  • Provide clear recommendations that balance customer needs and commercial impact
  • Create engaging, easy-to-understand data visualisations to communicate insights
  • Confidently present findings and represent the team when needed
  • Add context to analysis using external benchmarks and industry comparisons
  • Support fast, data-driven decision-making, especially where trade-offs are required

We’re looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and passionate about using data to improve digital experiences. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Experience in a digital analytics or similar role
  • A strong track record of using experimentation (e.g. A/B testing) to drive performance and insight
  • Commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across the product development lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences
  • Experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics and Tableau (or similar platforms)

Booker is the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler. We are privileged to serve independent retailers, caterers and small businesses, from locations across the country. We operate over 190 cash and carry branches, 8 distribution centres, 5 Best Food Logistics sites, as well as 6 support centre locations across the UK.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) at Booker means that whoever you are and whatever your background, we always want you to feel represented and that you can be yourself at work. In short, we’re a place where Everyone’s Welcome.

We know life looks a little different for each of us. That’s why at Booker and Best, we always welcome conversations about flexible working. Some people are at the start of their careers; some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else. So, talk to us throughout your application about how we may be able to support you.

We’re proud that Booker is a Disability Confident Committed Leader and we’re committed to providing a fully inclusive and accessible recruitment process. For further information on the accessibility support you can expect, please contact recruitment@bookergroup.com

Please note

We can only accept candidates over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles.

On the occasions where we have high volumes of applicants, some roles may close earlier than the advertised end date in order for us to manage all of the applicants appropriately. We will only be able to offer individual feedback to those candidates who attend an interview.

*Booker Group is part of Tesco plc, however, is operated separately from the core Tesco business and as such the benefits offered will be different from those offered at Tesco*
