Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Please note: This is a full-time, office-based role (5 days per week). Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Denmark. Relocation support is not available for this position.
Opportunity
At Maersk, we are looking for a Strategic Procurement Partnerships – Assistant Solution Manager to support the development, implementation, and management of procurement solutions delivered through strategic partnerships.
This role sits at the intersection of procurement, stakeholder management, project coordination, and solution development. Working closely with internal procurement teams, strategic partners, and consortium members, you will help shape and deliver solutions that create measurable business value.
You will contribute to partnership-driven offerings such as learning solutions, consulting services, co-sourcing models, and outsourced procurement solutions, helping bring new ideas from concept through implementation and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Development
- Support the design and development of procurement solutions delivered through strategic partnerships.
- Evaluate new solution opportunities and business cases.
- Collaborate with category managers and stakeholders to define requirements and support solution creation.
- Help ensure solutions are commercially viable and aligned with business objectives.
Project Coordination & Implementation
- Coordinate implementation activities across internal teams and external partners.
- Support solution testing, pilot programs, rollouts, and stakeholder communication.
- Track activities, timelines, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, strategic partners, and consortium members.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Support governance activities, workshops, and business reviews.
Continuous Improvement
- Collect user and stakeholder feedback.
- Support performance monitoring and solution optimization.
- Identify opportunities to enhance adoption, scalability, and value creation.
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience within procurement, supplier management, partnerships, consulting, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience working with contracts, suppliers, or cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across different levels of an organization.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented with a commercial mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred
- Exposure to procurement, sourcing, category management, or supplier management.
- Experience supporting product, service, or solution development initiatives.
- Experience working in a global or matrix organization.
- Knowledge of partnership management or consortium-based business models.
