Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

  • Detailed planning and execution of IT- implementations
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant SAP and non-SAP technologies (e.g. databases, software stacks and infrastructure components)
  • Be accountable for advisory and adoption on SAP Business Technology Platform use cases
  • Implementation of use cases (through code, architecture, tutorials) to achieve business outcomes
  • Support development & integration work of SAP Business Technology Platform with hyperscaler services
  • IT process implementation across all related IT-components
  • IT components-specific expert consulting
  • Support for system optimization
  • Support for solution proposals and bid management
  • Taking over responsibility from time to time as a (sub-)project lead
  • Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Delivers customer workshops and trainings

Experience & Language Requirements

  • Several years of experience in technology consulting
  • Expert across multiple SAP and non-SAP technologies
  • Technical planning, implementation and configuration experience
  • Comprehensive overview on S/4HANA architectures and S/4HANA related migration paths and tools
  • Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub project lead and/or team lead
  • Acts as a coach for colleagues and/or customers and partners
  • Active contribution to a technology related community
  • Fluent in English and Korean

Required skills

  • Subject matter expertise in cloud native software development including but not limited to:
    • Hands-on development experience with SAP Business Technology Platform
    • Proficiency in at least one of the core platform capabilities:
      • Integration Suite (SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP API Management, Event Mesh)
      • Extension Suite (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Workflow Management, iRPA, Fiori, UI5)
      • Data Management & Analytics (SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA)
    • Experience with hyperscaler service integration (Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)
    • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Node.js, ABAP)
    • Proficiency in agile software development and lifecycle management best practices (GitHub, CI/CD, tests)
