PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As part of the Cloud Lifecycle Management organization, we specialize in automating the delivery, updating, upgrading, and decommissioning of the entire SAP software portfolio for our customers. We leverage the latest technologies to provide both Cloud and On-Premise solutions.

Our mission is to design, develop, deliver, operate, and document state-of-the-art cloud services that enable customers to monitor and manage their SAP business applications in a cloud-based environment (public, hybrid, and private).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for a Technical Writer (User Assistance Developer) to join our team and work on the development of technical content such as product documentation, blogs and articles, tutorials, and video demonstrations. You will have the opportunity to work with highly experienced user assistance developers and learn how to present information in the most appealing and understandable way.

You will be part of a collaborative, positive and diverse working environment, consisting of established professionals and young talents.

Responsibilities:

  • Create user assistance materials (embedded help, documentation, blog posts, tutorials, and videos) targeted at various user profiles.
  • Define terminology (simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards).
  • Ensure all content maintains the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and linguistic correctness. Oversee editing, proofreading, and adherence to content architecture, terminology, and guidelines. Advocate for clear, translatable, and user-centered UI texts to enhance the overall experience.
  • Partner with UX designers, product managers, developers, and subject-matter experts to align content with product features and the overall user experience.
  • Work with the latest technologies in the user assistance field – a DITA-based content management system, Camtasia, Adobe products, and many more.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English Philology, Computer Science, or any other related experience
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
  • Previous experience in information development, technical writing, or other forms of content development
  • Willingness to learn new standards and guidelines for writing technical documentation
  • Creative thinking
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality in a fast-paced environment
