PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Cloud & Lifecycle Management organization designs and implements the infrastructure to handle the requirements of the rapidly growing SAP Cloud Business. We are implementing the automation needed for delivering the entire portfolio of SAP Software to our customers. We are as well responsible for automating the process of update and decommission of our software. We work with the latest cloud native technologies, and we have solutions both in Cloud and On-Premise.

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated cloud software developers. You will be part of the teams working on the core lifecycle management components for the company's ever growing cloud business. Our teams take ownership of the development, orchestration and scalability of various lifecycle management operations in SAP. Our customers are among the biggest and most successful companies in the world. You will get the opportunity to work with a highly motivated team, established from young talents as well as experienced professionals and using many of the most trending technologies.

Specifically, you will:

  • Design, develop, test and deliver platform features
  • Embrace the exciting opportunity to join a high-profile strategic and transformational project to deliver the next generation of software lifecycle management services
  • Participate in all phases of the software services development, from design discussions, implementation, testing, to deployment and operations
  • Work on a team applying agile development practices and DevOps, thus contributing to team goals, requiring the flexibility and the ability to work on different topics.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

  • Student or already holding university degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent theoretical and practical background in OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms
  • Diverse coding skills with Java and Spring
  • Use and knowledge of common build tools, repositories and CI/CD tooling, experience in test automation
  • Easily adapting to change and learning quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent team player, self-motivated, passionate about technology
  • Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies for software and service development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Advantage

  • Experience with Cloud Foundry
  • Experience with frontend technologies (SAPUI5, AngularJS, Vue.js, React)
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud applications and micro-service architectures

More than 2 years of experience with software development topic

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (3 days in the office is mandatory attendance)

This is paid fixed-term (1 year) position.
