The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 2000 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. Most recently, SAP Labs Bulgaria expanded in the topics of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Meet the team
Hyperspace is assembling a team to operate, maintain and improve the Service Tool Chain (STC), an existing tool that will be taken into our responsibility.
The STC serves as a central entry point for the maintenance and analysis of consistent, internal service metadata.
By consolidating critical information for each SAP service, the STC enables users to efficiently answer key questions such as:
- Who owns and operates the service?
- In which data centers does the service run?
- Which business applications depend on the service?
This comprehensive data is essential for supporting informed strategic decision-making regarding SAP services.
You are the main contact for the hand-over project, you collaborate with users and stakeholders to evaluate requirements and define the vision of the STC within Hyperspace.
You will also contribute to the development efforts and make technical decisions for the future of this solution.
This combination of tasks is perfect for people wanting to take responsibility beyond developing software, to actively shape the strategic and technical direction of an important internal solution.
As a Technical Product Expert, you will:
- Take responsibility for the development and operations efforts of the STC
- Own and manage the technical product backlog, ensuring proper prioritization of features, enhancements, and technical debt
- Drive incremental value realization through iterative development and feedback loops
- Ensure alignment with system architecture, performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards
- Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and production readiness
- Hands-on experience with API design, microservices, cloud platforms, and data systems
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable
- Proven experience in product ownership or product management
- Good knowledge of node.js and Javascript
- Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans
- Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps environments
