We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join us on this exciting journey. As part of the SAP Concur Travel team, you'll help build the next-generation travel-booking experience across our mobile and web apps, ensuring that SAP Concur’s travel tools meet a high standard of usability and design excellence that supports elegant and simple user experiences. You will get your hands dirty the whole way, working with cross vertical teams using a Mobile & Cloud-first approach, along with Design Thinking to ensure SAP Concur’s Reimagined Business Travel experience is the best in the business.

What you'll do

· Design, development & delivery of new features as part of agile team

· Design and write services in one or more of GO, Kotlin, Java, and deploy using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and AMI-based pipelines.

· Collborate with other developers and participate in scrum teams by setting positive examples.

· Contribute to cloud services end to end, implementing distributed systems using AWS services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and feature-flag-driven development.

· Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management (FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2, and more)

What you bring

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required

· 2 + years of professional software development experience

· The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering optimal solutions and challenging the status quo. To be successful in this role, you will thrive in an agile environment where teams work together toward a common goal

· Ability to write clean and scalable code using Go, Java, Kotlin, NodeJS and other modern programming languages.

· Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects and technical leads

· DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability

· Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and a broad array of AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo, etc.

· Experience with database persistence

· Familiarity with common compliance frameworks that impact software development: FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2, and more

· Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions

· Experience in Travel Technologies a plus

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 84,900 - 185,500 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
