Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

The Business Opportunity

At SAP, the speed and intelligence of our contracting process are critical to our success. We are in the midst of a strategic, multi-year transformation—the Next Generation Contract Management (NGCM) program—to redefine how we engage with customers. By replacing our legacy systems with the Icertis platform, we will accelerate sales cycles, reduce commercial risk, and create a world-class contracting experience.

We are at a pivotal moment, transitioning from initial deployments to a full global rollout. We need a strong business-focused leader to partner with the Business Lead, move us beyond a reactive "fire-fighting" mode, and drive the program toward its strategic goals.

Your Impact:

  • Drive Business Value: You will be accountable for the successful execution of the NGCM program, ensuring it delivers on its promise of increased efficiency, compliance, and speed across our global customer-facing contracts.
  • Implement Strategic Governance: Establish and lead a clear governance and decision-making model that connects our day-to-day execution directly to strategic business outcomes. You will bring predictability and control back to the program.
  • Champion Business Alignment: Act as a key business partner, forging strong alliances across Sales, Legal, Operations, and IT. You will ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the vision, the plan, and their role in our shared success.
  • Co-pilot a Strategic Transformation: Partnering directly with the Business Lead, you will provide the operational and structural leadership needed to navigate complexity, make critical trade-off decisions, and keep the program on track to achieve its long-term business case.

Your Profile:

  • Strategic Program Leadership: You have a proven track record of leading large-scale business transformation programs, delivering tangible business outcomes such as revenue acceleration, cost savings, or risk mitigation.
  • Business-Focused Problem Solver: You excel in high-pressure situations, with a talent for cutting through the noise to identify root causes and implement pragmatic solutions that protect business objectives.
  • Structured Delivery Excellence: You combine a strategic mindset with a mastery of structured execution, translating ambitious business goals into a realistic, achievable roadmap.
  • Executive-Level Influence: You are an exceptional communicator with the presence and credibility to align senior leaders, inspire global teams, and articulate program value in clear business terms.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand the mechanics of a B2B sales and contracting lifecycle. Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms (like Icertis) and their role in driving commercial excellence is a significant advantage.
