What you’ll do

As a Product Owner in our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the new Security Automation Platform at SAP. You will collaborate closely with security leaders, product managers, and technical experts to design, implement, and optimize security automation solutions. In your daily work, you will

- act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring transparent communication, managing expectations, and aligning on product direction.

- work with various business stakeholders to understand their demands and gather input for product development.

- analyze, validate, challenge, and strategically prioritize business requirements to maximize product value and alignment with business goals.

- define and evolve the product roadmap, manage and refine the product backlog by writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

- lead and empower the development team, providing clarity, removing impediments, and facilitating effective collaboration during product design, development, and operations.

- work seamlessly within an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product efficiently.

- proactively research and integrate emerging technologies and industry trends, championing innovation and continuous improvement within the product and team.

What you bring

- Strong educational qualifications (University degree in IT, Software engineering, Business Informatics or related fields).

- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environments

- Ability to understand, challenge and prioritize business requirements to assess the value and effort of potential implementations.

- Proficiency in managing product backlogs, writing clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and defining epics/features.

- Proven experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, SAFe).

- Highly analytical and results-oriented, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Customer centric mindset with strong service and can-do attitude.

- Previous experience with SAP ESM, CRM, or Service Cloud solutions is a plus.
