Senior Product Communications Specialist (Product Management) - M/F (limited full-time)
Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you'll build
In this role, you’ll create clear, engaging communications that help stakeholders understand the products and topics owned by our product management team. You’ll translate complex technical information into concise, audience-appropriate emails, SharePoint content, and customer-facing web pages. Your work will support product launches, roadmap updates, and adoption by making information easy to find and understand.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Writing and editing email communications on technical product topics.
- Maintaining and updating team SharePoint sites so content is accurate and easy to navigate.
- Maintaining and updating customer-facing web pages for the product areas we own.
- Working with product managers and SMEs to gather inputs and ensure technical accuracy.
- Creating simple visuals (e.g. diagrams, tables, timelines) to support understanding.
- Following and helping improve templates and content guidelines.
- Collecting stakeholder feedback and supporting basic reporting on communication effectiveness.
- Ensuring all content follows SAP brand, accessibility, and inclusive language standards.
What you bring
You are a motivated communicator who is comfortable learning technical topics with support from experts. You bring strong writing skills, structure, and a reliable follow-through mindset.
You have:
- 4-5 years of experience in technical writing, product communications, content management, or a similar role.
- Ability to write clear, concise content in English for emails, web pages, and internal knowledge pages.
- Comfort collaborating with technical experts and translating their input into understandable messages.
- Experience maintaining web or intranet content (e.g. SharePoint, CMS tools).
- Strong organization skills to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines with guidance.
- Proactive, self-organized working style with high attention to detail.
- Openness to feedback and eagerness to learn new tools, products, and communication approaches.
- Exposure to product management, software development, or SaaS environments.
- Basic familiarity with content design, UX writing, or information architecture.
- Interest in learning how to measure communication effectiveness using simple analytics.
Where you belong
You’ll be part of a product management team that collaborates across functions to deliver value to customers and internal stakeholders. Day to day, you’ll work closely with product managers and other experts to create and maintain content that supports their priorities.
You will thrive here if you enjoy:
- Working in a collaborative team where you can ask questions and learn from experienced colleagues.
- Taking ownership of your tasks and delivering reliably on your commitments.
- Continuously improving how information is structured and communicated.
- Growing your skills in technical communication and stakeholder management with access to learning opportunities.
