What you´ll build

You´ll work with a global team of network engineers maintaining & ensuring operational stability and continuous service improvement.

You´ll work with SAP’s engineering and architecture teams to provide operational expertise in concept development

You´ll be part of an effective collaboration model, bringing together various teams and units that design, build and run core components of our cloud network Infrastructure Platform

You´ll engage with broad range of suppliers, internal and external stakeholders and other groups and teams, owning the end-to-end operating model of the network operations

You´ll support network improvement and lifecycle projects to maintain a state-of-the-art functional network infrastructure.

You´ll have the exposure to emerging technology

There is a growth potential into architecture-based roles subject to performance and delivery of workload

What you bring

• Experience with GCP/Azure Public Cloud
• Palo Alto and F5 skills
• Experience in network automation in cloud environments
• Understanding of cloud platform network infrastructure and operations, with F5 and Palo Alto
• Technical skills in BGP, VPN, IPSEC, VPC, LTM, SSL Certs Network Security Skills desired – L3/L4 firewalling, WAF, DDoS, Bot Management, URL filtering etc.
• Deep experience working and supporting production customer facing SAAS environment
• Maintain and operate cloud network services infrastructure with focus on managing Public Cloud Networking on GCP and Azure
• Good working knowledge on F5 LTM load balancers and configuration of iRules
• Excellent knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and ability to fine tune policies based on traffic patterns
• Excellent knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls Security Subscriptions such as Threat Prevention/URL filtering modules
• Knowledge of CDN Networking using Akamai or Cloudflare
• Experience with network infrastructure automation tasks via Terraform, Ansible and Python
• Abstract problem-solving skills, high level of commitment and reliability, good communication skills, self-sufficient working attitude and a real team player
• Ability to up skill in various network verticals in Cloud Transformation and enhancements

Where you belong

Our organization is responsible for various data centers across the globe, in public cloud both in Azure and GCP.

We will support multiple Application and Architecture teams in maintenance and support.

You will be part of a diverse network team distributed across 3 physical location (US, Hungary, India) all subject matter experts in various fields of routing, firewall and load balancing.

You will be closely integrated with the EU platform support team also to manage local network related demands effectively.
