Team Overview
The SAP Digital Platforms team is driving digital transformation globally, delivering innovative customer-facing capabilities and experiences across 50+ countries. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Digital Product Owner to lead the development, optimization, and evolution of SAP’s public-facing digital properties. Properties include but not limited to sap.com, search.sap.com, partner.sap.com, support.sap.com, events.sap.com.

In this role, you will define and execute strategies that enhance platform sophistication, elevate customer experiences, and align with SAP’s digital transformation goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll employ Agile methodologies to deliver incremental value while maintaining technical and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision: Define and implement a clear, innovative roadmap for SAP’s digital platforms, leveraging modern UX principles and cutting-edge technologies to deliver seamless, engaging customer experiences.
  • Human-Centered Design: Incorporate the latest UX trends, including micro-interactions, immersive design, neumorphism, motion-based interfaces, and responsive accessibility, ensuring platform inclusivity and user delight.
  • Personalization at Scale: Drive personalization strategies using tools like Adobe Target and Machine Learning models to deliver tailored experiences for diverse customer segments.
  • Voice & Conversational UX: Integrate voice search optimization and chatbot capabilities into platforms to provide intuitive, multimodal customer interaction pathways.
  • Modern UX Technologies: Advocate for and implement technologies such as Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), WebAssembly, and headless architecture to enhance user performance and scalability.
  • Data-Informed UX: Partner with analytics teams to leverage behavioral analysis tools, Adobe Analytics to continually refine interfaces and improve key user journeys.
  • Omnichannel Experience Design: Drive seamless integration across devices and touchpoints, ensuring a consistent user experience whether on desktop, mobile, or wearable technologies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with UX researchers, designers, and front-end developers to deliver customer-centric solutions, ensuring design-to-development handoffs maintain quality and intent.
  • Accessibility, Compliance, Site Speed: Ensure adherence to WCAG 2.1 standards, embedding accessibility and site speed into the core of platform to make SAP's digital presence inclusive and performant for all users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in digital product management, UX design, or customer experience, with a strong portfolio of delivering impactful digital experiences.
  • Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Analytics, Target) and advanced CMS platforms; familiarity with Webflow, Next.js, and React.js frameworks is a plus.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proficient in using analytics tools for user behavior analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional ability to align global teams, manage priorities, and deliver solutions that balance business goals with user needs.
  • Future-Ready Skills: Awareness of AI-driven Trends, including predictive interfaces, real-time personalization, and advanced search capabilities.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Digital Technology, Computer Science, UX Design, Business Analytics).
  • Preferred certifications in Adobe technologies, UX Design (e.g., NN/g, UXPA), or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
