About SAP iXP Program

Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d)– People Insights Data Scientist

Location: Prague

Expected start date: July 15, 2026

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

What You’ll Build

  • Learn from, collaborate, and support our industry experts to gain knowledge in employee listening, survey design, and people analytics.
  • Contribute to SAP's global employee engagement program by analyzing employee feedback and translating insights into actionable strategies to enhance engagement and to support transformation.
  • Gain hands-on experience in consulting on and implementing employee-facing survey requests using Qualtrics, including survey setup, dashboard design, and Sentiment Analysis.
  • Support with data wrangling and both quantitative and qualitative analyses by using state-of-the-art AI-augmented development workflows (e.g., Claude Code and GitHub Copilot equipped with the latest LLMs) and Python as a main (R as optional secondary) programming language for data science. Enjoy the power of leveraging high-performance compute clusters on Azure Databricks for complex analyses.
  • Assist with employee support within our global #Unfiltered survey program, gaining firsthand experience in a leading feedback culture initiative.
  • Facilitate enablement sessions or prepare enablement materials and support creation of effective and targeted communication assets for different stakeholders (from C-Levels to all employees).
  • Immerse yourself in a Scrum setup, where you'll thrive in an open and agile team culture, taking on responsibilities that support our personal and professional growth.

What You’ll Bring

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
Preferred fields of study: Data Science, ML Ops, Data Engineering, Business Informatics, Social and Psychological Sciences, Business Administration, Economics or comparable with a Data Science or HR background.
Data Science & Analytics: Python (specializing in Polars, Seaborn, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) with SQL for data extraction. Experienced in statistical inference, experimental design, and A/B testing. Optionally, R is available as a secondary language.
AI & DevOps: Skilled in AI-augmented development using agentic patterns in Claude Code and GitHub Copilot (MCP servers, custom skills). Proficient in Git/GitHub collaboration (branching, PRs) and implementing CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated testing and deployment.
