What you'll build


In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of data engineering and product security, contributing to meaningful outcomes that impact both developers and executives across SAP’s global organization.

You will be responsible for:

-Analyzing data sources to uncover security-relevant insights
-Building data and ETL pipelines to support efficient data flows
-Data modelling and visualization to present complex information clearly

Your work will directly impact how SAP creates transparency on security-related information, empowering developers to act swiftly on security incidents and enabling executives to make informed decisions through high-level security dashboards. You’ll also support timely fixes for security incidents and contribute to the corresponding reporting capabilities that keep SAP’s global operations secure and compliant.

Essential requirements:

-Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Information Systems
-Strong foundation in data modelling and SQL (must-have)
-Familiarity or interest in ETL processes and Python
-A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
-Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, global environment

Nice to have:

-Exposure to cloud analytics platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud, Databricks, or similar)
-Prior experience or coursework in data visualization or business intelligence
