Reporting to Head of SAP Business Network COE, APJ

The Business Network Integration Architect is responsible for guiding customers through the integration of their systems with SAP Business Network and enabling the automation and collaboration of supply chain, logistics, and procurement processes. This role acts as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert, consulting customers and their trading partners on best practices, solution design, and integration strategies to ensure successful adoption and long-term value realization

What You'll Do

  • Present SAP Business Network capabilities and value propositions clearly and effectively through verbal communication, written materials, and customer presentations.
  • Consult customers on integration best practices and recommended processes.
  • Lead and facilitate customer integration workshops to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Propose creative, flexible, and scalable solutions to accelerate integrations and transaction processing.
  • Implement basic project management methodology on projects engaged on (regular calls, status & issues tracking)
  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end testing activities with customers, from initial engagement through production deployment.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to the exchange of electronic documents via the SAP Business Network
  • Lead and influence resources that impact success. Including management of and delegating tasks to resolve issues to other teams/individuals when necessary
  • Contribute to product evolution by recommending enhancements based on customer feedback and implementation experience.
  • Perform required system configurations and customizations on SAP Business Network to meet customer needs.

What You Bring

  • 10-13 years’ experience in IT technical consulting.
  • Strong integration and technical troubleshooting skills, including ABAP debugging, job configuration, log analysis, and XML monitoring.
  • Basic understanding of Procure to Pay processes with good understandings of B2B and EDI integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with XML and EDI formats such as cXML and xCBL, and communication protocols including AS2, HTTPS (MIME), and SOAP.
  • Understanding of Basic project management methodology (Agile, Scrum and waterfall) with a focus on organizational change preferred
  • Proven customer-facing experience with strong presentation and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with project stakeholders (internal & external), both verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally, with flexibility to support global customers across time zones.
  • Specific experience with SAP Integration solutions (NetWeaver, PI/PO, HCI I-Docs, SOA Manager Etc.) is preferred.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and logistics processes within any industry (Mining, Automobile, manufacturing, Retail etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of purchasing and accounting flows/data translation within any ERP systems.
  • Ability to adapt and navigate in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively to improve cycle times and delivery outcomes.
  • SAP MM, SCM and SAP PI certifications are preferred.
