What you’ll do


In this role you will take full ownership of the Analytics capability within SAP Asset Performance Management. You’ll be focused on the long- and short-term product vision of this area of the product, managing the roadmap and the functional backlog. You will do this productively and efficiently and will be expected to work closely with customers and a range of internal stakeholders. • Understand and represent user needs
• Define and lead an outcome-based roadmap
• Support realization of product vision and roadmap, considering strategic, customer, technical and competitive aspects
• Support decisions about in-house developments, purchases or strategic partnerships on product level
• Ensure the product delivery, through high-quality specifications according to customer requirements and market needs
• Foster close collaboration within the Empowered Product Team and with other teams
• Define and track metrics for measuring success of our product and the productivity of our customers
• Speak at events, deliver internal enablement activities, interact with customers/partners to contribute to the product strategy and ensure customer success
• Support marketing in building core content and website/promotional materials
• Be the go-to product expert for other internal teams, executives, sales, marketing, customers, and partners

What you bring


• Master's/Diploma in Economics or IT, PhD is a plus.
• 8+ years of work experience in academia or software development. Strong experience as a product manager.
• Deep understanding of SAP’s Analytics Portfolio.
• Profound knowledge of the Asset (Performance) Management domain and SAP’s product portfolio for Asset Management.
• Profound knowledge of commercialization process and product management practices.
• Proven track record of structuring and managing high stakes development projects, with a strong focus on execution.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• Articulate storyteller and presenter, confident in working with large enterprise customers, both in presales and post-sales phases.
• Excellent writing skills: presentations, white papers, solution papers & case studies-
• Experience working in a matrix organization, crafting and leading initiatives across the company. Knowledge of the SAP organization, practices and processes is a plus. Excellent stakeholder alignment skills is a must.
• Experience in leading teams and coaching junior colleagues, enabling their professional growth.
• Solid understanding of market dynamics in enterprise IT, and ability to analyze competitive landscape and technology innovations and drive product and go-to-market strategy accordingly.
• Empathy with Development teams is very important for you, experience as a software developer in an agile development team is a plus.
• Very strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills with ability to work effectively in an agile development environment in cross-cultural global team.
• Experience as a design thinking coach and meeting facilitator is a plus.
• Fluent in English. German language is a plus.
