Procure Travel Pay Procurement Operations Specialist for Payments is reporting to the Procure Travel Pay Global Payments Team which is a cluster handling the payments to third parties, employees and intercompany. This role process payments and handles cross-process topics, lead and assists complex projects and initiatives with focus on driving system and process improvements. The colleague will also be collaborating closely with stakeholders like GA, LCA, CFR, Tax, and Treasury to make sure that operations are running effectively.

Tasks in scope:

  • Process regular and exceptional payments until completion timely and accurately.
  • Review payments submitted and take appropriate action on identified issues.
  • Monitors requests and process accurately and timely.
  • Serves as back up for the team based on back up system and an adhoc basis.
  • Assess and escalate concerns as necessary. Resolve complex topics and know how to resolve or reach out for resolution help.
  • Drives knowledge management for area of responsibility according to the agreed standards.
  • Pro-actively think about possible simplification, automation and other improvements of the process, systems and organization within the Payments area and coordinate with SMEs, team lead, manager.
  • Ensure work instructions specific to the countries/subprocess are complete and updated.
  • Support audit requirements.
  • Approve payments on time (if applicable).
  • Prepare required reports that will help review the process or give better understanding of the situation that will help in decision.

1.Technical & Process Expertise - Deep knowledge of specific PTP processes and related tools (Ariba, ISP, I4P, FG, Fidi, MDGs, Concur)
