Your team:

You will be part of the Application AI team at SAP. This team works with all other Application LOB Teams. Our team comprises of AI Product PM's, Engineers and Data Scientists. We are driven to curate and build AI first applications that create meaningful impact for our customers and their business. We partner with the various LOB's to analyze paint points and then work with customers to vet potential areas that can be scaled. This is a terrific and exciting team to be part of to solve legacy Enterprise issues using AI.

Role description:

  • Experience with various LLM architecture design using RAG, MCP and hybrid models
  • Good understanding of choosing the right ML algorithms based on business problems
  • Experience in prototyping AI solutions including having a good understanding of data vectorizations and or feature designs
  • Collaborate with SAP external customers specifically Retail, Manufacturing.. to drive workshops and outline AI use-cases. Develop PRD’s to clearly communicate requirements to the Engineering teams.
  • Leverage AI to solve pressing business challenges for our enterprise customer
  • Use the various AI Studios to quickly create a proposed prototype for both neural networks and Agentic AI use cases
  • Partner with leadership, customers, and prospects to identify opportunities where AI can deliver value at scale for multiple SAP customers to build end to end processes using AI
  • Define and track key business metrics that demonstrate the business impact
  • Collaborate with our engineering and development teams working on AI technologies, UX designers and GTM teams to accelerate bringing products to the market.
  • Develop customer facing multi-modal Generative AI demos specific to use cases and document the script, set-up environment for partners and solution architects to leverage.
  • Conduct hands-on market research to validate requirements and ensure we're building solutions that address real customer needs and market opportunities
  • Document what you know and guide others. This can vary from building targeted training for partners, Solutions Architects, and other internal stakeholders, to writing blogs, and to simply working through hard problems with a customer on a whiteboard


Experience:

  • 8+ years of product management expertise with a proven track record of shipping
  • 3+ years of and hands on building generative AI models and shipping at scale
  • Experience building conversational tools and chatbot
  • Experience in selecting the optimial algorithms and prototyping neural networks
  • Experience working with customers and building long-term strong relationships
  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities and implementations of new technology and products into complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience successfully partnering with Data Science teams
  • Passion for directly engaging with customers—from requirements gathering to demos and sales support
  • Experience working and guiding product and engineering teams distributed globally

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 192,500 - 420000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
