Purpose and Objectives

SAP is the industry leader in enterprise applications, analytics, mobility and cloud. Our department is responsible for delivering state of the art Web frameworks and services for the User Interfaces of the SAP applications and S/4HANA FIORI technology stack. Our main focus is SAPUI5, a highly scalable, cross-browser JavaScript Framework. SAPUI5 incorporates a rich set of Web controls based on HTML 5, which are used to create the UIs of Business Applications designed for desktop, tablets or mobile devices. SAPUI5 is available for the developer community as OpenUI5.

We bring UI5 Web Components to the world. It’s a lightweight and open-source web framework, based on the Web Components standard.

We are looking for new junior colleague in order to strengthen the UI development teams.

What you will do

After an initial on-the-job training, you will work in a cross-functional and multi-location implementation team, enabling the easy and quick development of Business Applications across all SAP. You will build professional UI components with enterprise qualities such as accessibility, performance, and security. Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation of SAPUI5, OpenUI5, and UI5 Web Components by utilizing modern browser standards like HTML5, Web Components, CSS3, and AJAX.

What you bring

BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or related

Knowledge in the development of client-side Web applications with JavaScript(ES6), TypeScript, HTML and CSS

REST & HTTP

Node.js

Git/GitHub

Testing frameworks like c QUnit, Mocha etc…

Flexibility and willingness to learn new subject matters quickly

Excellent team player, with strong communication skills, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven

Very good skills in English both written and spoken

Advantages

Yeoman is considered as a plus

Visual Studio Code extension development is considered as a plus
