What you'll do
At the CLM Application Management Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based solution to operate the SAP cloud, with a set of cloud native microservices using the latest technology. To strengthen our team further and accommodate SAP’s growth in the cloud, we are looking for a passionate Developer (f/m/d) with a strong background in ABAP, data science, model training and tuning, and a solid overview on existing AI technologies, especially LLMs.

We're actively hiring skilled developers to join our team, focusing on seamlessly integrating Generative AI into our platform. As an ABAP and Python Developer specializing in Generative AI, your role involves innovatively applying AI solutions with ABAP / Python language into various scenarios.

In your role as a Developer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and quality assurance in a development team. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code, and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members who will be very supportive for onboarding.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Working Knowledge in RAP programming and REST, OData API’s are necessary.
• Software engineering experience of AI related projects, using advanced techniques like vector databases, LLMs, and NLPs
• ABAP-OO is preffered and Python knowledge is beneficial.
• Good understanding of best practices in AI
• willingness to embrace new topics and technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, emphasizing the ability to work well in a team.
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal/written)
