What you'll do:

Summary:

We are looking for an AI Architect who can lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade AI architectures across our operations. You will play a crucial role in shaping scalable AI solutions and multi-agent systems that deliver significant business value. The ideal candidate possesses strong architectural skills, a deep understanding of AI and MLOps practices, and experience with modern AI frameworks.

The Role:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with AI Product Owners, data scientists, and engineering teams to transform AI strategies into robust, production-ready architectures. You'll take charge of designing scalable AI systems, ensuring their compliance, reliability, and observability while integrating cutting-edge technologies and industry trends. You'll thrive in an agile, innovative environment that prioritizes continuous learning and architectural excellence, helping to drive the next wave of AI advancements at SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and architecture of AI and generative AI systems from concept to enterprise production.
• Establish and enforce best practices for AI architecture and deployment within a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand and convert requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to development and engineering teams.
• Ensure the integration of modern AI technologies, multi-agent frameworks, and industry trends into product architecture.
• Guide and support the implementation of CI/CD and MLOps practices for automated model lifecycle management.
• Maintain high standards of observability, scalability, and compliance in all deployed AI solutions.

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong coding skills in Python (preferred) or Java, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
• Extensive experience in designing and building cloud-based architectures for enterprise AI solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLFlow) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Deep understanding of AI frameworks, distributed systems, and data platform principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical decision-making skills.
• Fluent English and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have but not a must:

• Experience with multi-agent or generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI).
• Familiarity with SAP AI Core, SAP BTP.
• Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira).

These skills are a plus. If you don’t have experience in all these areas, we’ll provide the resources and training you need to become a leader in cutting-edge AI technologies.
