Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Developer at our Newtown Square, PA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of specific SAP product features in a development team.

Expectations and Tasks:

Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Provide application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation. Implementation activities include implementation, testing, and integration. Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal. Extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-) systems.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Biotechnology, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Biotechnology, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:

• Selenium WebDriver and Appium for web and mobile application testing using Java, Python, or Java Script;

• Web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Document Object Modal(DOM);

• CI/CD tools and pipelines including GitHub Actions or CircleCI;

• RESTful APIs using cypress; and

• QA testing and Methodology.

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:

• Visual testing tools and libraries including Applitools, Percy, or WebdriverIO;

• Writing and optimizing SQL queries for testing database operations;

• Frameworks including TestNG, Junit, PyTest, Nunit, Typescript, Protractor, Angular, and Angular JS;

• Writing and debugging PowerShell scripts;

• Logging tools including ELK stack, and Sumologic;

• Cucumber or Gherkin; and

• Kubernetes.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $146,078 - $166,950. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $146,078 - $185,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
