About SAP Labs Network and SAP Labs Vietnam

SAP Labs Network is the global R&D setup where over 55,000 engineers around the world create, operate and support the most innovative enterprise solutions for SAP’s customers worldwide. What you’ll build

• Develop LLM-powered applications and AI workflows
• Build agent-based solutions and tool-using agents
• Implement RAG pipelines using vector databases and external knowledge sources
• Integrate AI models into backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with engineers and compliance analysts to build AI-driven automation
• Monitor and improve AI system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Contribute to internal AI tools and automation platforms
• All necessary compliance training will be provided for qualified candidates.

What you bring:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• 2–4 years of software engineering experience with exposure to AI/ML systems
• Strong programming skills in Python (Rust or other languages are a plus)
• Experience working with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar)
• Understanding of RAG pipelines and vector databases (PGvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
• Experience building backend services using FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and modern development workflows
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Good written and spoken English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI-powered developer tools or internal platforms
• Familiarity with open source software and compliance topics
• Experience with vector search systems or knowledge retrieval platforms
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure or Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code

SAP’s Global Technology Legal Compliance (GTLC) organization enables SAP engineering teams to build compliant and secure software by managing open source usage, intellectual property risks, and technology governance.

SAP is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to help build intelligent systems for our Technology Legal Compliance and Agentic Workforce platform. In this role, you will develop LLM-powered tools and agentic workflows that automate compliance analysis and support SAP’s global engineering teams. You will work closely with engineers and compliance experts to transform complex governance processes into scalable AI-driven solutions.
