Position Summary

We are seeking an inspiring and hands-on Digital Design Lead to accelerate product introduction and deliver digital solutions. As part of a newly formed, cross-functional, global team, you will tackle exciting challenges in AI/ML, engineering design software development, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Physics-Based Modeling & Simulation and Statistical Analysis. Your expertise will help shape our strategy through working closely with Engineering, Digital & IT architects, driving the development of new capabilities (methods, tools & processes), and collaborating with end users to deliver measurable business impact.

What you will be doing

  • Lead internal customer engagement to identify, prioritize, and address key opportunities for application of digital technologies providing optimal impact and value to engineering design
  • Lead the development of a subset of digital technologies and deliver them into our wider digital architecture
  • Lead the development and support of codes and applications to allow the efficient deployment of digital technologies into our engineering business value streams.
  • Represent your work with the internal customers, external customers, and user base
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital design.

Basic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience in Engineering OR;
  • A Masters degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of related experience in Engineering OR
  • JD/PhD in a STEM discipline
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in accelerating product design and delivering impactful digital products
  • Extensive experience with modern software development methodologies and coding languages
  • Experience developing solutions in surrogate modelling, Generative AI, or Agentic AI to improve engineering design activities
  • Experience leading stakeholder engagement and requirements capture for engineering design improvement activities
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and the product introduction process
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective and positive engagement on technical and business issues
  • Excellent presentations skills and proficiency with standard Office tools
