Rolls-Royce Solutions Italy, in Arcola, is looking for a:

Project Coordinator Data Center (m/f)

Business Unit: Powergen

(Fulltime | 40 hours)

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Data Center Projects for global Hyperscale customers (e.g., Amazon Web Services) within the area of responsibility of RRS IT. The role ensures effective coordination, communication, and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Task and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local point of contact for the parent company’s project team, customers, internal stakeholders at Rolls-Royce Solutions Italia, and external suppliers.
• Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Facilitate effective resource coordination, ensuring team members are equipped to meet project objectives.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and deviations to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
• Contribute to project cost monitoring and financial administration, including invoice processing, purchase order management, and monthly budget tracking.
• Ensure accurate and timely management of project documentation, including uploading required materials to customer portals.
• Prepare regular project status reports and updates for the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Provide administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth and efficient project operations.
• Track task progress and proactively follow up with team members to ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Support Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to effective communication across stakeholders.
• Coordinate the onboarding of the service department and manage the structured handover following project commissioning.

Your Profile:

Education, Knowledge, Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent in a technical direction;
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the technical sector, preferably with Site work
• Technical knowledge of complex generator set systems
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian (German is a plus)
