The Opportunity
Multiverse is undergoing rapid expansion with offices in the UK and US, managing a hybrid workforce of over 800 individuals across various locations. The significance of technology, encompassing both hardware and software, is paramount for the seamless operation and sustained growth of our organization. It plays a crucial role in providing our employees with the necessary tools while maintaining a secure and robust infrastructure.
This presents an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage as we focus on refining our tech stack and processes, improving our operational methods, and solidifying our security. As an IT Support Executive within the growing IT Operations Team, you will contribute to elevating our system and hardware management to new heights.
What You Will Be Doing
Master Technical Challenges:
Tech Trouble-shooter: Resolve advanced IT challenges with precision and expertise. Confident at 1st-3rd line resolution
Strategic Problem-Solving: Craft solutions strategically, collaborating seamlessly with the IT team
Efficient Documentation & Maintenance:
User-Friendly Documentation: Create clear support docs, empowering users to troubleshoot independently
Create and implement process improvements for both IT and the broader business
Hardware & Security Support Proficiency:
Hardware Resolution Specialist: Address hardware issues focusing on providing the best employee experience
Security Specialist: Maintain a vigilant approach to cybersecurity, ensuring we align with both our internal as well as the industry standards
Project Management Excellence:
Project Collaboration: Actively engage in IT and cross-functional team projects, contributing to the successful completion of initiatives
Strategic Project Planning: Implement strategic approaches in project collaborations, ensuring efficiency and innovation
Team Player: Collaborate within the IT team, using your expertise to ensure we continue to learn from one another
About You
Experience in BAU helpdesk and system administration or a similar role working at 1st-2nd Line helpdesk level
Familiarity with SaaS heavy tech structures and Google Workspace
Proficiency in managing Windows and Mac environments.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience supporting and delivering strategic projects across cross-functional teams
Enjoys self-learning, building knowledge gaps both for yourself and the team
Can demonstrate impact in building strong process improvements that had value with scale and efficiency (using automation and tech tools)
