Mondelez is implementing the o9 planning solution; which is an AI-powered enterprise planning and execution platform that connects supply chain, finance, commercial, and operational planning into a single unified system. As with any AI based capability, the solution will require a vast amount of data and the ability to integrate with various data & analytics ecosystems in the company.
As the Data & Analytics (D&A) o9 Data & Integration Lead, you will be expected to envision, enable, and execute a data strategy and action plan in support of the o9 solution development, deployment and sustainment.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and passionate about Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Program Management, and Business Digital Transformation. The role will expect candidates to be apt at solving business problems with data & analytics, have excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively engage and manage a diverse group of individuals. This role is expected to work with various parts of Data & Analytics organization, external partners, multiple functional (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Consumer-Marketing) teams as well as Business leaders to successfully deliver the o9 program agenda.
How You Will Contribute:
End-to-end Data Program Delivery & Execution:
- Own the o9 data enablement roadmap across multiple waves, including the data product rewiring plan and data migration plan. Focus on AMEA and MEU regions.
- Establish program governance frameworks to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery
- Resolve cross-functional bottlenecks, technical trade-offs, and critical-path blockers
- Establish Data Governance & Quality practices (activation of; Ataccama tool, personas and operational process) to ensure optimal delivery and sustainment of data lineage to and from the o9 solution
Drive Multi Stakeholder Alignment:
- To unlock funding and integration of the data roadmap into the solution roadmap, serve as the primary delivery partner to business sponsors, ensuring alignment in priorities and progress
- Translate complex technical progress, architecture constraints, and trade-offs into clear executive narratives with business impact for leadership and deployment review meetings
Vendor Partner Selection & Management:
- Assess, appoint and oversee technical contracting teams, lead SoW negotiations, and build business case justifications
- Drive accountability across vendor resource allocation and milestone sign-offs
Manage day-to-day delivery:
- Track critical-path activities, cross-workstream handoffs, and upstream/downstream technical dependencies and integrations
- Maintain proactive RAID logs with pre-emptive mitigation strategies to prevent scope impact
- Collaborate with analysts on data mapping exercises to ensure accurate data alignment across systems
- Leverage defect analysis and end-user feedback to continuously improve testing strategy and build functional test cases for data governance and quality assurance
End-to-End Data Cutover Strategy & Execution:
- Accountable for the full data cutover across each o9 wave in MEU and AMEA — define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data freeze windows, and go/no-go criteria across master data, transactional data, planning parameters, and historical loads
- Execute cutover dry runs, build automated reconciliation scripts, and lead the cutover command center on go-live — own the runbook, triage defects (P1/P2/P3) in real-time, and execute rollback if thresholds are breached
- Post-cutover, drive data integrity verification, manage 4–6-week hyper care, validate downstream flows to GCP/Databricks and BI, and feed lessons into subsequent waves
Reporting Strategy & Delivery for AMEA/MEU:
- Own reporting and analytics delivery for o9 across AMEA and MEU — partner with regional Supply Chain and Finance leads to define needs: demand planning dashboards, supply planning scorecards, S&OP/IBP executive views, exception-based alerts
Data & Analytics skills:
- Analytics: Understanding of diagnostic, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive techniques
- Data management: Managing data security, API, data integration, ETL techniques, or metadata.
- Data modeling & architecture: From data warehouse, data lake through to semantic layers
- Data governance: Knowing data security & privacy, DAMA etc and data stewardship practices.
- Data Fluency: Across Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales and Finance
Technology skills:
- Database Management: Knowing how to write queries and manage database systems like SQL, Oracle, or MySQL
- Programming languages: like SQL, Python or R and notebooks like R Studio or Jupyter.
- Data Engineering/Integration platform and tools like Databricks, AWS, Snowflake
- Analytics and Business Intelligence tools like Quick, Genie BI, Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
Professional skills:
- Leadership with high level of self-initiative and drive: Lead the discussions on D&A agenda in the o9 program
- Communication: Ability to convey information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood and actionable.
- Facilitation and conflict resolution: Hosting sessions to elicit ideas from others, understanding their issues, and encourage group participation.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Bridging between technical and business communities
- Influencing: Apt at asserting ideas and persuading others to gain support across an organization or to adopt new behaviors.
