Job Description
Unique Value Add
Transforms planning signals into decision-ready insights across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, production, procurement and distribution planning.
Enables faster, more confident trade-off decisions across service, cost, cash, inventory, capacity and revenue commitments.
Shapes agentic AI opportunities where planning agents can monitor signals, reason through exceptions, recommend actions and execute bounded workflows within defined business guardrails.
Shifts planning from static reporting and spreadsheet reconciliation to proactive, AI-enabled decision orchestration across S&OE and IBP forums.
Connects planning decisions and workflows to more end to end decisions across the supply chain, from early detection of disruption to assessing impact downstream and proactive mitigation
Working Relationships
Partners with functional experts in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, Logistics and Supply Chain leadership.
Works closely with Data / AI Product Owners with domain specialization, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Developers and Delivery Managers in domain and across domains including Deliver, Make and Source.
Collaborates with TDS platform, integration, architecture, data governance and security teams to ensure scalable, interoperable and governed planning data solutions
Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Own the planning decision intelligence transformation roadmap and backlog aligned to E2E Planning, S&OE, S&OP and IBP priorities.
Lead programmatically from POC / POV to at scale deployment for prioritized decision intelligence initiatives.
Ensure uplift in planning influenced KPIs including forecast accuracy and bias, service risk, inventory health, capacity utilization, E&O avoidance, constrained plan adherence and production plan attainment through POV and scaled decision intelligence initiatives. Track and report on adoption and outcome KPIs
Translate planning requirements into scalable data products, predictive models, scenario simulation, optimization models and decision workflows for S&OE and IBP
Extends scope to logistics requirements as needed to shape more end to end decision intelligence requiring collaboration between planning and logistics
Define agentic AI use cases, guardrails, approval thresholds and escalation logic for planning agents operating across demand, supply, inventory and capacity decisions.
Enable exception-based workflows for demand changes, supply constraints, inventory risks, capacity bottlenecks, allocation decisions and financial plan gaps.
Drive adoption and business impact through a planning decision intelligence workbench (i.e. planning control tower), automated executive decision packs, agent-assisted workflows and embedded analytics in planning routines.
Domain Deliverables
End-to-end planning and execution intelligence layer that cuts across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, production and distribution signals, from near-term S&OE to tactical and strategic IBP cycles. Extends to logistics decision intelligence as required, for example influencing transportation decisions.
Enable agentic planning workflows in S&OE and S&OP/ IBP forums. e.g. service and inventory excess risk detection, exception based prioritization, demand shaping insights, probabilistic risk assessment of supply plans, automation in S&OP executive decks
Agentic AI planners that can monitor live planning signals, reason across multiple data sources, propose corrective actions and trigger bounded workflows such as replenishment review, allocation, demand adjustment or escalation routing.
Conversational planning assistants that explain forecast changes, supply gaps, inventory risks and scenario outcomes in business language for planners and executives..
Technical Skill Requirements (Market-Facing)
Data product management for decision intelligence capability: lifecycle ownership, access controls, interoperability, semantic model governance and adoption.
Planning systems fluency across Kinaxis and ERP, planning workbenches and analytics/control tower platforms.
Analytics and optimization literacy in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, capacity planning, scenario simulation and decision support.
Agentic AI literacy, including agent workflow design, prompt and task decomposition, tool orchestration, business guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, auditability and responsible AI considerations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven product management experience in data, analytics, AI or digital products.
Experience delivering analytics, AI or planning technology solutions in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OE, S&OP or IBP environments
Exposure to generative AI, agentic AI, decision automation or intelligent workflow solutions, preferably in supply chain planning or operations contexts.
Strong understanding of service, cost, cash, inventory, capacity, revenue and margin trade-offs in complex global supply chains.
Experience operating in global or multi-regional planning environments with cross-functional governance and executive decision forums.
