About the RoleJoin Microsoft’s Datacenter QS & Cost Management team as an Apprentice and learn how to manage the financial side of large-scale construction projects. You’ll support sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and cost analysis, ensuring projects deliver value while meeting compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement requests and contract management for datacenter projects
• Assist in pricing negotiations and supplier onboarding
• Help define sourcing strategies and evaluate supplier performance
• Apply market intelligence to drive business impact and cost savings
• Ensure policy compliance and educate stakeholders on best practices
• Maintain quality, timeliness, and accuracy of deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones

Qualifications

• Interest in quantity surveying, procurement, and cost management
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• GCSEs (including Maths & English, grades 9–4) and A-levels/BTEC/T Level or equivalent by September 2026
