Responsibilities

As a Programme Director with us, some of your main responsibilities will include:

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the planning, execution and outcomes of complex transformational projects using the appropriate Project Management Framework and Methodologies, focussing on customer satisfaction, tangible outcomes and high quality.
  • Applying program governance standards, compliance and best practices to ensure successful delivery of programs on scope, on schedule and on budget.
  • Leads, directs, and oversees a team of programme resources working across multiple workstreams and/or projects to plan, execute, and co-ordinate activities to manage and implement a change programme roadmap from mobilisation to implementation.
  • Provides executive leadership to Advise on and escalates programme level decisions that affect significant programme direction to the agreed governance forums and identifies decisions that cannot be resolved.
  • Leads cross-team and third-party collaborations - influencing without authority and leveraging the strength of diverse teams.

Internal Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable with all our consulting services and proactively seek ways to provide value to our clients and establish strong internal relationships across service lines.
  • Participates in the pre-sales process and being able to articulate the business value proposition associated with the project or change in a clear and compelling manner
  • Manages any commercial aspects of the project or programme, ensuring financial integrity
  • Enhances people performance and potential by providing effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring to all levels of staff
  • Investigates and proactively shares intellectual property (IP) and providing suggestions for enhancing how we operate

Qualifications

To position you for a successful career with us and enable you to have an impact on your colleagues and our customers, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing complex very large technology and digital transformation programmes, preferably at international scale.
  • Program governance skills, including financial management, planning, scheduling, reporting, resource management, senior stakeholder communications, and risk management
  • Professional presentation skills with experience of regularly presenting a variety of different audiences including those at a C-suite level.
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Relevant financial services industry experience or similar regulated industry.
  • Confident with Agile and Waterfall delivery practices, Agile certification desirable.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master ‘s degree in relevant subject or equivalent work
  • Experience in cloud, security, Office365, or productivity solution implementations is essential.


This role will include travel to customer and Microsoft offices, with some international travel from time-to-time.
