As an Account Executive, you will help develop and oversee the execution of account plans for multiple accounts and work to ensure engagements yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customers that are on track with goals, budgets and forecasts. This opportunity will allow you to understand customer drivers of digital transformation and leverages understanding to engage internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation and strategy. You will help cultivate relationships and use Microsoft sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy in and execution.

Responsibilities

  • You will build connections with executives and business and technical decision makers through consultative engagement in the assigned accounts to establish trust and credibility in future interactions.
  • You will liaise with customers during interactions, focus on consistently addressing their technical and business needs, explains technical concepts relevant to the customer, and connects the customer to Microsoft executives as well as leverage selling methods to network and create a pipeline, consume account-based marketing outputs and reflect the engagement strategy in our customer plan.
  • You will manage and execute plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization for multiple accounts to ensure Microsoft targets and customer business needs are met and help coordinate with extended virtual teams and holds self and the team accountable for executing on plans and meeting customer needs. Outlines revenue targets to deliver on account plans.
  • You will help manage and execute plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization for multiple accounts to ensure Microsoft targets and customer business needs are met and coordinate with extended virtual teams and holds self and the team accountable for executing on plans and meeting customer needs.
  • You will seek feedback from customers of assigned accounts to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and establishes action plans to improve their overall experience and leverage internal resources to support customer needs.
  • You will learn about the business of assigned accounts and intricacies of their industry, of Microsoft's position in the industry and of direct competitors as well as coordinate with internal industry experts to gather industry data of assigned accounts and improve planning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • 2+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • 4+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation
    • OR Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation
    • OR Master's Degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Administration AND 2+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation
  • 1+ year(s) account management experience OR equivalent
