Location: SEA LIFE Centre, Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2HL

Hours: Guaranteed 5 hours per week

Contract type: Fixed-term, contract ends early September 2026

We are recruiting for a Retail Host to help to join our AWESOME SEA LIFE Birmingham Team!

• Give our guests a brilliant experience by being friendly, helpful, and making every interaction fun and memorable.
• Help drive sales by chatting to guests, recommending products, and making the most of every opportunity to upsell.
• Keep the shop well stocked and ready for a busy day.
• Follow opening and closing routines to keep everything running smoothly.
• Make sure the shop always looks its best – clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Create eye-catching displays by following merchandising guidelines and layouts.
• Keep on top of stock levels and ensuring stockrooms stay organised and clutter-free.
• Check products are correctly priced and labelled in line with company standards.
• Handle cash confidently and accurately, making sure all transactions are recorded properly.

This is a seasonal contract, offering a minimum of 5 hours per week. Our attractions are open daily, so flexibility is needed as shifts will include weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications & Experience

• Plenty of experience working in a customer facing environment
• Friendly and hardworking with a "can do" attitude
• A fun, dynamic, and friendly personality
• Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills
• Flexibility on days and hours
