We’re hiring Admissions and Retail Assistants at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, where the wildlife is as curious as our guests!

You need to have flexible availability for work from a starting time of between 9am and 10am to a closing time of between 4pm and 8pm (no split shifts) 5 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.

As an Admissions and Retail Assistant, you’ll:

• Be the first point of contact for guests, offering a warm welcome and providing information about their visit.
• Assist with admissions, ensuring the correct ticket type is processed and maximizing visitor spends.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the admissions and retail areas.
• Help stock retail displays and assist with sales, promoting SEA LIFE-related products.
• Handle guest queries, ensuring all interactions are positive and professional.

These seasonal, part-time roles offer flexible hours, making them ideal for weekends, school holidays, or anyone looking for a fun and dynamic job in Cornwall.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing roles with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Ready at all times to take a flying jump from Admissions to Retail!
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with visitors of all ages.
• Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday periods.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to a fun, dynamic environment.
