Job Purpose/Overview
The Supply Chain Development manager acts as the business process expert for existing and future Supply Chain processes across the North Europe cluster. He or She is responsible for deploying and implementing the market Do It Best ‘DiB’ (Cost, Service and Sustainability) programme, both from an Annual Execution Plan and long-term strategic perspective as well as driving / designing new capabilities across the end-to-end supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Leads development of Supply Chain performance and capabilities across the North Europe Cluster (UKI and Nordics), taking a continuous improvement mindset toward driving Quality, Service for our customers and cost effectiveness / value for our business
Leads deployment of new technical & digital solutions across cluster (e.g. processes, systems, tools)
Drives standardisation and harmonisation of process and reporting across cluster
Proactively identifies gaps and opportunities to drive continuous process improvement and DiB (‘Do It Best’) programme across Cost (5% target savings YoY) and Sustainability (8% Co2 intensity reduction YoY)
Leads continuous improvement of Cost to Serve tool and mindset. Drives adoption through the unit and projects manages CTS initiatives through to delivery
Project manages 3PL tender process in collaboration with MGS / Mars Procurement and will lead subsequent 3PL relocations if applicable, ensuring best in class transitions with loss of service minimised
Support the implementation of changes to RTM
Represents the North Europe cluster in regional Supply Chain Development and Sustainability forums
Building of standard operating procedures and assisting with training for implementation
Acts as PMO for project delivery across Supply Chain
Acts as Logistics Sustainability & EPR champion for unit
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree
Fluent English
Fluency in Scandinavian language is preferred
Significant prior experience in market Supply Chain (logistics, distribution, warehousing, 3PL management, supply chain management) within a global / European business
Must demonstrate successful project management experience with supply chain/logistics management.
Strong analytical skills (use of digital tools such as Power BI is an advantage)
Strong influencing skills to senior management
Strong collaboration skills and effectiveness in working in a matrix organization
LEAN concept and tools & value stream mapping
Ability to lead and facilitate effective meetings with a mix of functions and management levels
