Pet Nutrition (PN) is the most vibrant category in the FMCG sector. As we transform this exciting category, the Mars Pet Nutrition (PN) leadership team has launched a new program—Digital First. Digital First places pet parents at the center of everything we do, while digitizing a wide range of business processes and building future‑fit capabilities to achieve ambitious targets in top-line growth, earnings, and user centricity.

Digitizing at scale across Demand & Supply is a key focus area for Digital First. This agenda requires strong thought leadership, high-quality decision-making, deep technical expertise, and the ability to navigate complex business challenges while building and leading a world‑class Data & Analytics (D&A) organization.

Within the Digital First framework, the SRM D&A NA Lead will develop Data & Analytics products to unlock Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) potential for Pet Nutrition in North America. Reporting to the Integrated SRM D&A Director, this role will be an integral member of the North America PN SRM business team.

The SRM D&A Lead will deliver capabilities that meet the needs of both the business and the data ecosystem. The role is responsible for defining and delivering the short-, medium-, and long‑term D&A strategy for SRM in North America, integrating solutions with the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) ecosystem, and playing a critical role in designing and deploying D&A tools and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the D&A delivery of a comprehensive product strategy for Strategic Revenue Management, aligned with the PN North America vision, priorities, and goals

  • Ensure seamless integration of SRM analytics with key Trade Promotion Management platforms to create a smooth end-user experience for Sales, SRM, and other stakeholders

  • Partner with North America SRM and Sales teams to drive adoption of D&A products, transforming capabilities and maturity while fostering a culture of data‑driven decision‑making

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement analytics solutions aligned with product objectives and roadmap priorities

  • Partner with the business to deliver SRM D&A capabilities such as: Strategic pricing Price Pack Architecture (PPA) Promotional event performance Promotion slotting and mechanics optimization Gross‑to‑net performance Trade architecture simulation Innovation simulation Point‑of‑sale assortment optimization

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to ensure the effective collection, storage, and use of relevant data, contributing to a strong data foundation for growth initiatives

  • Maintain a strong focus on value creation and adoption of delivered capabilities, driving measurable impact through routine and advanced analytics while identifying efficiency opportunities

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between D&A initiatives and business objectives

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and business impact

  • Communicate complex data and analytics concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders and provide training to product teams as needed

  • Identify and mitigate data‑related risks, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and established governance standards for accuracy, interoperability, integrity, and security

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing Data & Analytics solutions within Strategic Revenue Management to drive business value Deep understanding of pricing, promotion optimization, PPA, and trade architecture is required

  • Experience in delivery management of analytics products, including strong business‑to‑science translation to enable effective partnership with Product Teams

  • Demonstrated ability to embed data‑driven insights into business processes and decision‑making

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to educate non‑digitally savvy leaders and teams across multiple organizational levels Executive stakeholder communication experience is a plus

  • Proven ability to deliver results in a matrixed organization, including influencing without formal authority

  • Experience building and leading high‑performing Data & Analytics teams

  • Experience managing relationships with external data vendors and analytics service providers

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

  • Solid CPG and retailer knowledge, including experience using key internal and external data sources such as first‑party data and associate surveys
