The Sr. Site Finance Manager will be the main finance business partner to site leadership at two Mars Snacking plants: Gainesville and Albany, GA. This role plays a critical role in delivering superior insights and support to site leadership & the Mars Snacking finance leadership team, driving strategic, financial, and operational insights/strategies.

This role will be based in Gainesville (GNV-Flowery Branch) and will travel to Albany, GA (ALB) once per period.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics or a related field required. MBA is a plus.

  • 5+ years in a Finance Business Partner role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. CPG/Food/Beverage experience is preferred.

  • Experience in a multi-cultural and multi-business environment; ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

  • Proven track record of delivering business objectives

  • ERP system proficiency (SAP preferred)

  • Ability to provide strong partnership and insights to site leadership and finance LT

  • Ability to operate independently

  • Broad understanding of different areas of the business, key drivers and performance metrics

  • Comfort with diving into ambiguous business questions to understand key issues and structure analytical path

  • Forward-thinking in anticipating future consequences and trends

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Leadership team co-pilot: Provide the management of systems and processes to produce high quality financial information and to derive critical insights.

  • Strategic Finance Partnership: Provide strategic financial insight and partnership to site leadership, enabling informed decisions and driving operational excellence.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Own end-to-end financial planning cycles (annual plan, forecast, period close)

  • Develop a deep understanding and independent perspective of performance drivers

  • Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements and value creation, leveraging data and advanced analytics techniques

  • Understand strategic needs of the business, and is able to support decision making through actionable insights

  • Actively participate in the Corporate strategic resource allocation process, facilitating unbiased data-driven discussion to drive better investment priorities
