Job Description:

This position supports the Commercial function to drive Business Continuity Management activities across all Direct Material Categories to support Royal Canin today and for the future. The role is accountable for ensuring completion and success of activities across a broad range of stakeholders by guiding, tracking, communicating, and deploying Activity Project Management.

Drive Business Continuity Management Activities through Project Management

  • Activity Management lead for the Sourcing function from planning through closure, including developing timelines, communications with relevant stakeholders and completion of key milestones and deliverables.

  • Track and report out successes, obstacles, and overall progress with Business Continuity Management efforts including both project briefs and updating dashboards

  • Lead through others and understand cross-functional requirements to drive activities in accordance with timelines

  • Key facilitator of the Supplier Development Process for new suppliers by working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure awareness of deliverables and timelines to ensure success.

      • Identify and implement opportunities to revamp and enhance the process framework to drive Efficiency and best in class activity management

      • Generate and present periodic updates on KPIs related to Supplier Development activities

      • Provide target date for supplier introduction into Royal Canin network and ensure successful implementation with Sourcing and Operations

  • Manage & maintain the Commercial supply resiliency metrics and performance targets, overseeing measurement, reporting, and progress against goals.

  • Support the exploration and approval process for Alternative Materials when identified by working with relevant stakeholders to obtain the information necessary, initiate discussions to evaluate feasibility, and execute approval process if deemed fit.

  • Manage activities related to strategic Commercial initiatives, when available, to increase supply to fuel our growth and potential value creation while maintaining or improving quality

  • Ability to develop effective relationships with key internal stakeholders, both regional and global, to ensure appropriate representation in internal business processes

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills along with a passion for continuous process improvement
