Security Operations Analyst

Job Description:

This role supports the growth of the Cybersecurity Analytics and Internal Risk team. This will improve the ability to develop analytical tools and dashboards to help improve Information Security's ability to show value and efficacy to its stakeholders. It will enable further development of critical metrics within Cyber Defense and the broader Cybersecurity Operations program. This role will also help identify risk across Mars and the subsidiaries by analyzing large datasets to find anomalies and trends to provide to relevant teams. This role will learn to be cross-functional and support Internal Risk and Incident Response during cyber incidents. This is a global role that requires context of how Mars, Inc and all legal entities operate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Member of the Analytics team to assist with accomplishing analytics roadmap objectives and strategy

• Co-develop dashboards and visualizations used for periodic updates to Security leadership.

• Coordinate closely with broader Cybersecurity, IT and business stakeholders to help gather requirements for queries and dashboards.

• Be a trusted expert on how to best visualize data to tell the story in an engaging and informative way.

• Analyze data to Identify Important and relevant stories to help make Improvements to security controls and reduce risk to the organization.

• Manage metrics within the team and assist with development for other teams within Cyber Defense & Cybersec Ops

• Assist with tracking and managing data source pipeline for data lifecycle management efforts.
