SAP BTP Basis Platform Lead | hybrid | Guararema

The SAP BTP BASIS Expert is responsible for coordinating, governing, and overseeing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) across hybrid landscapes, including on-premise SAP environments, SAP RISE & SAP BTP cloud services. This role ensures secure, compliant, and standardised platform operations across SAP applications, integration services, and database platforms.

The position acts as the technical coordination lead within the SAP BTP and platform services domain, aligning internal teams, SAP cloud services, hyperscalers, cybersecurity functions, and third-party vendors under a structured governance and shared-responsibility framework.

The SAP BTP BASIS Expert drives long-term platform supportability, operational resilience, security governance, and audit readiness while managing BTP services, including identity and access management limited to Platform, connectivity, integration, monitoring, and platform administration. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and enables business value through secure, scalable, and reliable SAP cloud platform operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Include managing BTP landscapes and platform security configurations.

• Transport and connectivity services, identity services limited to the platform, integration monitoring, and lifecycle management, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and cloud governance standards.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead the SAP BTP Platform administration and operations across enterprise hybrid landscapes.

• Play the role of bridge between the Development operation team to ensure the right transitions are being done and the team understand their responsibilities in respective areas.

• Act as the central coordination point between SAP, hyperscalers, internal platform teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders.

• Regularly monitor the BTP operation stability to ensure no impact on the BTP task.
