About the role: This role will be working for our Mars Petcare segment, where we make life better for pets and their owners.
Role Title: Packaging and Process Development Technologist
Location: Bathurst
Hours: 24 month fixed term contract
Reporting to: R&D SPT/SPH Lead
What you’ll do:
Work with the Research and Development and Supply teams to hand over plant validation for new pack formats and processes.
Lead packaging and process development/improvement to boost efficiency, meet design/nutritional needs, and align with Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition R&D programs.
Coordinate Handover 1 with stakeholders for any new packs, pack changes, process changes, new Q&FS standards, or supplier changes.
Share knowledge and stay aligned with Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition R&D and Supply during project execution.
Your unique ingredients:
Food Science, engineering, chemistry, or equivalent BS degree preferred.
3 years working experience in a Food Manufacturing environment working in Quality, Food Safety, Engineering, Packaging/Process or Product Development.
Working knowledge of food processing and packaging technology is highly preferred.
