We’re looking for a Product Technologist ANZ - Dry & C&T to join our talented R&D team. This role sits at the heart of transforming ideas into real products that pets love and consumers trust.

With responsibilities spanning innovation, renovation, troubleshooting, raw materials expertise, and factory-scale trials, this is a role where you’ll truly see the impact of your work every day.

What You'll Be Doing

In this exciting, hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to expert for Dry & C&T product and raw material performance in the ANZ region.

You’ll partner across R&D, Supply, Q&FS, Formulations, and more to deliver product excellence, solve challenges, and support a pipeline of innovation.

You will:

  • Attend daily FMOS meetings and support 2nd level troubleshooting
  • Provide product/raws expertise to resolve issues and maintain factory efficiency
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across ANZ
  • Lead factory-scale trials for product or raw material changes
  • Support new raw material introductions, documentation, and supplier testing
  • Communicate progress to project teams and key stakeholders
  • Perform product/raws risk assessments and manage waivers
  • Support Q&FS, HACCP and internal/external audits
  • Assist affiliate markets with re-registration documentation
  • Approve product artwork (for non-pack change projects)
  • Update technical specs and support formulation reviews
  • Partner with the Customer Care Team on product or process enquiries
  • Participate in Handover 1 & 2 activities, ensuring readiness for production

Who We’re Looking For

A curious, analytical, and hands-on technologist who can move easily between the lab, factory floor, and project meetings.

You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Nutrition, Biological Science, or similar
  • 5+ years’ experience in FMCG (R&D, Supply, or Engineering)
  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • Understanding of raw materials, their functionality, and testing methods
  • Experience applying scientific methodology and problem-solving
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and love for connecting across functions
