  • Night Shift: 2-2-3 schedule
  • 6:30pm- 7am
  • $2 shift differential

Job Purpose:

The Maintenance Technician is tasked with maintaining and repairing equipment in a high-production environment, balancing multiple mechanical, electrical, and administrative responsibilities.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years’ of industrial maintenance experience
  • Understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings
  • Willingness to develop technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or Technical/Trade Certification in a technical discipline
  • 6+ years’ of industrial maintenance experience
  • Relevant Technical Degree/Relevant Trade Certification
  • Understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings
  • PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.)
  • Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, and lean over equipment
  • Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
  • Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that supports production needs

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Troubleshoot Pneumatic, Basic Hydraulic, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Automation (PLC and Instrumentation), Machining, and Mechanical Systems on Process and Packaging Equipment.
  • Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
  • Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging Equipment.
  • Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover, and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
  • Document Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance).
  • Engage in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts, participate in Pillar Teams, and train fellow Technicians/Operators in AM activities, including conducting Breakdown Analysis (BDA’s).
  • Adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures, and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 35.02 - USD 48.16
