Learning Curriculum Manager

The Curriculum Manager role is part of the Service Management team within MGS Learning. The Curriculum Manager enables the optimization of the efficiency and effectiveness of the MGS Learning Organization with a relentless focus on Continuous Improvement to ensure high impact value of Learning services and solutions across Mars.

To this end, the Curriculum Manager owns stakeholder relationships to deliver on assigned curriculum including content, performance, continuous improvement contracting with stakeholders, owning nomination processes, facilitation pool management, etc. This role is accountable for having in-depth understanding of assigned curriculum and oversees content and program related curriculum activities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Full Portfolio Ownership

    For each existing functional learning portfolio:

  • Participate in regular curriculum reviews for quality; make decisions on continuous improvement and rationalization and align with key stakeholders
  • Participate in regular meetings with the vendors in terms of continuous improvement and content updates needed
  • Drive and execute continuous improvement across portfolio (in collaboration with Learning Experience Team)
  • Accountability for of Compulsory, Compliance or Elective Designation.
  • Assigned content “owner” in Workday
  • Own regular meetings with vendors and SOW renewals within the demand planning process
  • Gather feedback from program facilitators and addressing continuous development and adjustment (content related)
  • Initiate Nomination process for nomination-based programs
  • Facilitator pool management for programs if applicable
  • Management of defining of demand and securing funding for license-based programs (E.g. Udacity, Circus Street)
  • Memberships (Content) Ownership
  • Senior Leader Program Event Management
  • Own activity follow-up coming out of any portfolio review meeting between Strategic Capability Team & MGS Learning
  • Stakeholder Engagement Management

  • Contracting with stakeholders on full portfolio demand plans (1B) and new learning initiatives launch plans (Steering Teams as a mechanism)
  • Attend steering committee meetings when relevant.
  • SME, Master Trainer and Facilitator Management

  • Activating program related resourcing for program delivery (including sufficient facilitator pool and/or briefing sponsors, senior leaders and others as required).
  • Lead Coordinate the upskilling and community building for Master Trainers, Senior Leaders and internal facilitators.
  • Acting as escalation point for master trainers and facilitators for addressing ongoing questions
  • Community Management

    Manage the existing capability communities:

  • Point of contact, answering detailed questions about overall portfolio and specific programs
