The Global Digital & e-Commerce Perfect Experience Manager is responsible for optimizing the e-Commerce pet parent experience removing pain points and better meeting pet parent needs by producing global processes/ tools/guidelines to develop and accelerate the Mars perfect experience program performance in the areas of personalization, rewarding and delighting pet parents across digital channels. Passion for growing digital commerce through recommendations grounded in data and insights. Utilize partnerships and insights to stand up new processes/tools/frameworks to accelerate category and mars share growth. This is a new role to ensure we have the right technical skills internally to direct and lead our internal teams and agency partners & engage customers to transform the digital & e-Commerce pet parent experience.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong experience in Digital Marketing, FMCG / CPG companies, preferred e-Commerce Background with proven track record in influencing indirect cross-functional teams

  • Can navigate a large matrix organization

  • Experience with Digital Activation – Retail Media, Event Planning, Activating against the Consumer Journey, CRM, Education, Innovation (Product & Tech)

  • Demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable solutions and ability to apply them to appropriately address business issues.

  • Ability to create new business processes based upon key insights, alignment with key stakeholders and drive meaningful business impact.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Build and translate the global Digital Experience Shopper Marketing strategy into picture of success principles and actions with key markets focused on key critical areas such as: Promotions, Events, Loyalty & Rewards, Subscriptions, Innovations, Basket Building, Point of Market Entry et al. Supporting functional leads with definition of measurement, with a passion for simplicity and standardization, driving a scalable approach around the globe.

  • Supporting in e-Commerce building through guidelines and playbooks. Codifying best practice with all teams to ensure standards are met. Understanding market models for perfect experience execution against priority areas & embed in market processes. Ensuring efficient utilization of workflow tools for end-to-end creation, deployment and measurement. Keeping guides and resources up to date and when needed creating new guides

  • Powered by Data & Insights, Monthly Reporting on KPIs, driving actions locally to improve against KPIs & Targets. Partnering with Global Digital & e-Commerce Category & Insights manager & CMI teams, to understand all the data available – collate into growth strategy & key beliefs. Partnering with Global Digital & e-Commerce Category & Insights manager & CMI teams, design the T&L agenda. Partner with markets to drive pilots to support & fuel growth pillars, codify learnings and scale as appropriate

  • Powered by Internal Connections, Build horizontal ways of working with brand, innovation, point of market entry, digital & e-Commerce teams to identify the big opportunities and to consolidate the learnings into key principles for scale. Crystalizing Timelines, ways of working & centralizing resources between brand, perfect digital store teams, ecommerce leads locally and regionally. Inspiring teams, driving connections and learnings globally. Sharing the best in class learning agenda, utilizing your community of local experts. Developing Perfect Experience upskilling agenda and delivering trainings and upskilling

  • Build Strategic Customer Customers, modify the picture of success principles and actions by key digital sub-channels as appropriate, support T&L agendas with our priority eCommerce retailers/platforms, codifying insights into key principles, Develop and evolve customer engagement materials to support the acceleration of the perfect experience program
