We are looking for a visionary Global Packaging Development Scientist to join our dynamic team. What are your Key Responsibility

As our Global Packaging Development Scientist, you will be the driving force behind our packaging innovation. You will:

  • Drive End-to-End InnovationLead cutting-edge packaging projects from the initial spark of an idea to a successful launch. You'll manage timelines, budgets, and quality, turning ambitious concepts into reality.
  • Champion SustainabilityBe a key player in our plastic reduction initiatives and ensure our packaging portfolio meets and exceeds global regulatory standards (like California SB 54), making our business more circular.
  • Collaborate for SuccessAct as the central packaging expert, uniting cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure seamless project execution and system improvements.
  • Build CapabilityMentor and elevate the technical knowledge of our teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in sustainable packaging across the business.
  • Stay Ahead of the CurveKeep Mars at the leading edge by exploring emerging technologies, materials, and trends through industry networks, trade fairs, and expert collaborations.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of technical excellence and a passion for sustainability.

  • A university degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Science, or Packaging/Product Design.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in packaging development, packaging engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Deep knowledge of the end-to-end packaging development process, from ideation and material selection to manufacturing start-up.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills. You are a natural collaborator who can inspire and influence others.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and proficiency in MS Office applications.
